Lost of Redwood

Enter a world of werewolves, witches, vampires, and other fantastical beasts trying to live in a modern world.

The World of Redwood

After the event known as the seizure of kingdoms in 1205, humans were determined to drive out werewolves, witches, berserkers, and monsters out of existence for fear of the risk of another invasion and threat of extinction. Because of this, the ‘abhominis’ and monster races were forced into hiding. Throughout the centuries these races had to get more creative in either disguising or hiding themselves entirely since there were several instances of some being discovered and causing a panic amongst the humans (take the Salem witch trials or Peter Stubb incident as examples). Despite this, there have been several advances in magical goods to help combat this from happening, such as tonics to help werewolves suppress their tendency to turn during the full moon, alternative food for vampires and a lotion that deters vaporization in the sun etc. Of course each of these solutions do in turn have their own limits as any pharmaceutical product would. Given that magical advances as well as technological advances had better allowed these races to exist amongst humans without detection, the humans began to see the seizure of kingdoms as a folktale rather than history and were for the most part oblivious to the other world living right next to them; save for a few families whose ancestors thrived on the business of the extermination of these races.

Salacia ‘Sal’ Lupus

Sal is a young 16 year old girl who had recently found out about being a werewolf, a secret that had been kept from her for most of her life; or as far as she can remember. Now, she has to hide her identity from the local werewolf hunting fanatic and his son and learn to live with her newfound abilities.

Dianna ‘Di’ Elwyn

Di, one of Sal’s two best friends, was born to a family of renowned witches. Her mother both being one of the head witches of S.O.A.C (Safety of all creatures) as well as a teacher at Redwood High, Di strives to be as successful and brilliant as her.

Bell Njord

Bell, another one of Sal’s best friends, lives with her dad not far from the other girls’ families. Like her father and late mother, she inherited the ability to enter a berserker rage; a trait passed down from generations of norsemen before them. She is fiercely protective of her friends an will do just about anything for Sal and Di.

David Helsing

After a mysterious fire had claimed his family’s lives and estate, most of the kids at Redwood High are wary of David. No one knows much about him, and the bandages he constantly wears definitely don’t help. It’s been said that he lives with his uncle now somewhere deep in the woods.
